I am so excited to be your teacher this school year!! Here is a little about me:

  • I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a reading certification for K-12

  • I obtained my Masters from ECU in Administration and Curriculum and Instruction.

  • I am certified in Exceptional Children's General Curriculum and Academically/Intellectually Gifted (AIG).

  • I am Nationally Board Certified.

  • I spent 2 years teaching in Hawaii.

  • I spent 22 years with Edenton-Chowan Schools teaching grades 3, 4, 5, 2nd EC and EC at the high school. 

  • I have been married for 26 years to Mr. Tim.  

  • I have 2 children, Caleb is 23 and Elizabeth is 18. Caleb lives in Connecticut and Elizabeth just graduated high school and College of the Albemarle and loves to ride horses.

  • I have 3 dogs, Brutus, Brodie, and Max.
